Who we are
We are BPG (Bates PanGulf) and we are one of the region’s preeminent Integrated MarCom Services companies that’s fueled by a distinctive culture of diversity, integration and innovation. We are powered by data-driven insights and our silo-free culture helps us build relevant, nuanced and impactful solutions for our diverse clientele. As we have been growing our client base and service offerings recently, we are looking for a driven, collaborative and qualified Copywriter - Oman to join us.

Job Description:

We’re looking for an Omani Copywriter with sharp thinking, local insight, and a natural flair for language to join our embedded creative team in Muscat, Oman. You’ll be part of a small, fast-moving unit working closely with the client’s in-house marketing team, crafting copy that connects, inspires, and represents the voice of modern Oman.
From campaign headlines to social captions, from scripts to everyday content, you’ll help shape ideas that feel authentically Omani, written with personality, wit, and cultural relevance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Write and adapt copy for campaigns, digital, social, and internal communication channels.
• Translate brand messages into clear, creative, and emotionally resonant language.
• Craft short and long-form content that reflects Omani tone and culture, both in formal Arabic and colloquial local styles.
• Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to build concepts that live seamlessly across media.
• Work closely with the client to respond quickly to day-to-day briefs, announcements, and campaigns.
• Review and refine copy to ensure consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment.
• Build and structure presentation decks with strong narrative flow and clear storytelling, ensuring ideas come across with clarity and impact.
• Support in developing campaign concepts and creative presentations with the wider Dubai HQ team.
• Bring speed, energy, and positivity to the creative process, from idea to delivery.
• Stay tuned to local trends, language shifts, and cultural nuances to keep the brand voice fresh and relevant.

What We’re Looking For:

• An Omani national with strong command of Arabic and English, and the ability to switch tone between formal, conversational, and playful.
• A midweight Copywriter with 5+ years of experience in advertising, content creation, or brand communication.
• Exceptional writing skills with an instinct for rhythm, tone, and cultural authenticity.
• Ability to think conceptually and contribute to campaign ideas, not just execution.
• Fast, adaptable, and reliable. Able to handle multiple briefs and tight turnarounds.
• Collaborative, approachable, and full of personality. A creative partner, not just a writer.
• Comfortable working in an embedded client environment and representing agency standards.
• Bonus: Familiarity with digital tools, social trends, or experience using AI-assisted writing or content generation tools.

The Vibe:

Think of this as less “client-side” and more “inside the story.” You’ll sit close to the brand, shaping its tone every day. From campaign ideas to real-time social conversations. It’s a role for a copywriter who thrives on culture, collaboration, and creative pace, and who wants to see their words make an impact in Oman and beyond.

    • Brief, compare and challenge OOH vendors and media owners; consolidate proposals and negotiate in partnership with the investment/buying team.
    • Monitor site quality, posting schedules and compliance in collaboration with vendors, and support post-campaign audits where required.
    • Contribute to post-campaign analysis (PCA) using available OOH measurement (traffic counts, location data, DOOH analytics) and link it back to business outcomes where possible.
  3. Digital Planning
    • Develop audience-first digital plans for each market, balancing reach, frequency and performance KPIs (CTR, VTR, CPC, CPV, CPA, ROAS, store visits).
    • Plan and steward campaigns across Meta, Google (Search, YouTube, Display), Programmatic, TikTok, Snapchat and local publishers, working closely with activation/performance teams.
    • Define clear channel roles (e.g., YouTube & DOOH for impact, Meta/TikTok/Snap for engagement, Search & Performance Display for conversion, app & CRM remarketing for loyalty).

    • Partner with performance specialists to review weekly optimisation and ensure learnings are fed back into future plans (creative, audiences, bids, budgets, formats).
  4. Cross-Market & Stakeholder Management
    • Act as a day-to-day planning contact for the client's regional marketing team and local market leads, ensuring each market’s nuance is reflected in the plan.
    • Coordinate with creative agencies, social/content teams, analytics and internal buying teams to deliver cohesive go-to-market plans.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations – strategy decks, media rationale, phasing charts, and PCAs – to marketing managers, brand leads and internal leadership.
    • Maintain a clear view of competitor activity (QSR and broader F&B) in each market and feed insights into planning recommendations.
  5. Measurement, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
    • Define and align on KPIs per campaign: reach, frequency, GRPs, TRPs, impressions, clicks, views, store visits, app installs, orders, etc.
    • Work with analytics/performance teams to ensure robust reporting (weekly, monthly, post-campaign) and derive actionable insights.
    • Proactively run tests & learnings (e.g., OOH vs DOOH mix, new formats, new platforms, audience splits, creative iterations) and document what should be scaled, fixed or stopped.
    • Maintain an updated knowledge of media tools and platforms (OOH planning tools, platform planners, industry reports) and share best practices with the wider team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working on multi-market MENA remits (GCC experience is a strong plus).
• Prior experience on QSR / F&B / retail / FMCG brands is highly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of:
o OOH formats and buying landscape in at least 2–3 key GCC markets.
o Major digital platforms: Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, YouTube, Google DV360 or other DSPs (nice to have), Google Analytics or equivalent.

• Analytical mindset: comfortable interpreting data, dashboards, and research to inform decisions.
